Systems Overview - Rooms For Improvement All for one, one for all At the heart of today's most current systems are components which combine tremendous performance capabilities with tremendous flexibility. Never before have so few been able to do so much, and get along so well together. The single most critical element which has brought about these changes in system design is how the advances in computerization have gravitated towards the world of traditional home electronics. While the inner workings of the programs which manage these systems are not surprisingly somewhat complex, (alright, extremely complex), a wonderful end benefit is that the internal complexities ultimately help create a finished system that is wonderfully simple, and often have fewer total components than would have been used in the past to accomplish the same tasks. Source components can be programmed to serve multiple purposes, and redundancies can be eliminated, which allows the system design to incorporate a quality-over-quantity approach. Central Sourcing is an intrinsic, fundamental element in smart home design. An absolute common element that you'll find in every system we create is that we insist on using high quality components. Regardless of how simple or complex any given system might be, it will always do what it is intended to do better, if it is built with high quality components. We may use some brands that are household names, and many others that are not, because what we look for are manufacturers who are committed to building high quality products, with proven performance and durability. We never want to overbuild systems, but we always want to be certain that a system has more than enough capacity to do everything that is expected of it, and never fall short of its owner's needs and expectations. Some customers may want to use all of the systems we work with, and others may choose to be more ala carte.
